I have a tandberg 3500 reel to reel and a...HELP!!!! I have a tandberg 3500 reel to reel and a variety of reels from different manufacturers. one of these is an ampex 20/20 reel, which has some vintage radio shows from the late 70's on it, from my university days. lately when i try to listen to it, there is this loud squeaking noise as the tape runs. other reels sound fine so its not my machine. its intermittent, on only part of the tape, but most of it. i've tried fast forwarding through the whole reel a couple of times, no help. Does anyone have ANY SUGGESTIONS??? Some of my favorite stuff is on this reel, unobtainable elsewhere and I really don't want to junk it. Thanks for any help!!!!Saulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11610140126524142896noreply@blogger.com
